Through the arches, into another Antalya.
Built in honour of Emperor Hadrian’s visit in AD 130, Hadrian’s Gate is a Roman landmark at the entrance to Kaleiçi. Its three arches make the passage into the old town an experience of its own.
Look beyond the landmark, too: a doorway, a timber balcony, the way light falls across a wall. Kaleiçi rewards attention to the smaller things.
